If you missed out on the festivities at last weekend’s Niagara Ice Wine Festival, there are activities this weekend AND next to choose from. Icewine Legends runs Jan. 22, 23, 29 & 30 and is Saturdays at 1 pm
and 3 pm and Sundays at 1 pm. It is an oppourtunity to meet the founding winemakers and rising stars of Niagara-on-the-Lake Icewinemaking. It is held in the Canadian Jazz Hall of Fame in the Niagara-on-the-Lake Courthouse. Space is very limited. Call 905.468.1950 to reserve. $20 per person.
This weekend is also the main event – The Niagara-on-the-Lake Icewine Village. Located on historic Queen Street from 11am – 5pm, 25 Niagara-on-the-Lake wineries pour their finest wines and icewines accompanied by the finest local restaurants with swinging Canadian jazz as the backdrop. Admission is free. It’s a great oppourtunity to get some sun, fresh air and enjoy all that the Niagara Region has to offer!
