I decided to take a trip down to Niagara on the Lake over the long weekend for a stroll along the lake; I was pleasantly surprised when I arrived to find out that the Artistry by Lake
was taking place (July 1-3)! I spent the next 2 hours stopping at each vendor and admiring all of the handcrafted works on display, buying one or two things along the way – - I couldn’t resist! From the original oil paintings to the gorgeous glass jewelry, everything was absolutely amazing & handcrafted of course!
The next stop was to the Shaw Festival! I was not planning on stopping in and seeing a show but could not resist after over-hearing the rave reviews from people leaving the theatre. One Touch Of Venus an amazing show that I would definitely see again! This musical fantasy was incredible with the superb actors and catchy songs – a must see!
After the show I stopped at Avondale Dairy Bar; I was in the area so I HAD to stop. Delicious as always! A perfect way to cap off the day!
Who would have thought that an afternoon stroll in Niagara on the Lake would have lead to a day of handcrafted works, a trip to the theatre and ice cream for dessert!?!
