Is it just me or is there so much happening this weekend? It’s Father’s Day 
and essentially the start of Summer on Monday (although, doesn’t it feel like Summer has already begun?) There are so many fun things to do, you’ll just have to pick your favourites (flip a coin):
Here are my top 10 favourites:
1) Today Breakfast Television is at the Oakes Garden Theatre and they are having a blast. It’s not too late to join in the fun, as they are there until noon. Friday is going to be a mighty fine day. The weather could get up to 27 ˚ C. http://twitpic.com/1xrnq2
2) Tonight is the grand opening of Margaritaville. Great ready for a mini vacation to the tropics….in Niagara Falls. BT was there last night with mayor, Ted Salci. http://twitpic.com/1xo99q
3) Are you a carnivore or a herbivore? Doesn’t matter, there is something for everyone at RibFest – ribs, chicken and those delicious blooming onions for the herbivores.
4) It’s Lobster Summer at the Keg Steakhouse & Bar. Lobster and steak….oh my.
5) Enjoy Fallsview Milestones Grill + Bar all weekend long. Live local musicians every Saturday starting @ 9pm and their award-winning brunch on Sunday.
6) Niagara New Vintage Wine Festival – Enjoy local wine, cuisine and the beauty of Niagara’s vineyards as your backdrop.
7 ) Spend Sunday afternoon exploring all that Port Dalhousie has to offer. Great food, great patios and a great view of Lake Ontario. Enjoy traditional Irish fare at the Kilt and Clover, farm to table freshness at Treadwell or delicious steak and seafood at Murphy’s Restaurant. Take a walk along the pier after brunch, lunch or dinner and soak in the incredible view. On a clear day you can see Toronto perfectly. While you are there, be sure to check out the duck race or order your duck online. You could leave $10,000 richer.
8) First ever Motorcycle Rally in Niagara Falls. Join us for the largest parade of Motorcycles Niagara Falls has ever seen. Plus there will be lots of live entertainment and fabulous food. A portion of the proceeds are going to a great cause, Women’s Place of South Niagara.
9) Test your luck at the Fallsview Casino. This weekend entertain your dad with the wit and charm of Jon Stewart or celebrate your dad with Ringo Star tickets.
10) Is adventure your middle name? What’s the best way to explore the really highs and lows of Niagara? Be sure to check out the Jet Boats, Free Fall or the Niagara Helicopters….
