Niagara Falls seems to have that reputation of high prices when it comes to accommodations, dining and entertainment. However if you plan ahead, there are lots of ways to trim your summer holiday expenses. Are you a CAA member? If you are, there are plenty of savings for the whole family. Many hotels (Courtyard, Marriott, Sheraton) offer a 10% discount on your hotel accommodations. Plus to make your stay even more enjoyable, take advantage of further savings on some of Niagara Falls’ famous attractions such as: Clifton Hill, Journey Behind the Falls, Niagara Falls Aviary – Birds of the Lost Kingdom, Niagara Falls Butterfly Conservatory, Niagara Helicopters and so much more.
For those Boomers with zip (Zoomers as many like to be called, thanks to Moses Znaimer for coining the term), you can save between 10% – 15% at most hotels in Niagara Falls just for being 55 plus. Getting older certainly has its privileges.
Many of Niagara’s restaurants have a themed night, just surf around for their weekly specials. Here is an example of a week full of savings:
Monday – Girls’ Night at Milestones Bar + Grill – 4 Bellinis, 4 Appetizers. Just $40.
Tuesday – Tapa specials at Johnny Rocco’s on the corner of Lundy’s Lane and Dorchester Road.
Wednesday – Date Night at Milestones – Two can dine for $50.00, plus save $5 off select bottles of wine
Thursday – A bit of a hike (15 minutes outside of Niagara Falls), but definitely worth the savings. Thursday is Tapas night at Lina Linguini’s.
Friday – Summer is Sizzling at T.G.I. Friday’s. Enjoy Fish Fry Fridays for only $9.99. Plus they have some fabulous drink specials.
There are plenty of savings in Niagara this summer, you just have to plan ahead.
