Yesterday after lunch I was craving some ice cream, so I called up my friend and asked if she wanted to join me in a ride to Avondale Dairy Bar, of course her answer was immediately yes (who can ever pass up a chance for ice cream).
There isn’t a better way to beat the heat than with some delicious ice cream – and what better place to get that ice cream than the Avondale Dairy Bar in Niagara on the Lake. It is definitely my favourite place to go when I get that dessert craving!
It has been in operation since 1956 and they make the ice cream right on the premise! From the classic flavours to ones like White Chocolate Raspberry Truffle to Death by Caffeine or Key Lime Pie to Watermelon Sherbet, they definitely have something for everyone’s taste buds!
One scoop of Chocolate Peanut Butter topped with a scoop of Oreo in a sugar cone is my all-time favourite…what’s yours?
