Yoga and Oxygen – the perfect Thursday Evening
Every Thursday is my yoga night with the girls. One hour of intense ‘Ashtanga’ or more commonly known as ‘power yoga’. Yoga helps me set aside my day and as my instructor likes to say “let everything melt into the earth”. I have a love/hate relationship with yoga, as it is such an intense work-out, but it has helped me build strength, flexibility, and it truly is a great stress reliever.
Afterwards we always like to escape for a coffee or a quick bite to eat. Last week we discovered Midé Bistro on Queen Street, which is now known as our “hidden gem” (well not anymore). The staff are so friendly and the food is incredible, so fresh and so “new” for Niagara. We shared eggplant bruschetta and I had a lentil rice salad (all figure-friendly of course). We also noticed a unique item on the menu “oxygen”. Next thing I know I have purchased this apparatus that you hook around your ears and into your nose. The oxygen was very subtle, but after I read the benefits I was impressed – increases energy, reduces stress, lessens the effects of headaches, sinus problems (who knew?). I wasn’t sure if I talked myself into feeling these benefits, but to be honest I left there feeling rejuvenated.
This is their quote of the day, which I just love “Anybody can make you enjoy the first bite of a dish, but only a true chef can make you enjoy the last.” Francois Minot
Check it out for yourself and tell me what you think.

Aw, this was a really quality post. In theory I’d like to write like this too – taking time and real effort to make a good article… but what can I say… I procrastinate alot and never seem to get something done.
